Junior Submissions

We are excited to announce that submissions are now open for the 6th Annual Nova Star Awards Youth Oscars Gala, taking place on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

1. Please select your best clip up to 3 minutes maximum (do not include full movies/episodes).

2. Only 1 submission maximum per category (please select your best work).

3. When sending a video link to your work, please include a headshot with your name and project name at the beginning of your video. For voice work you must include a picture of your character at the beginning of your video. This is so our judges can identify you.

4. When submitting, please submit under the performer’s name only.

To be eligible to submit a nomination, the young performer must have been between the ages of 4-19 at the time of the filming.

Deadline

All submissions must be received by July 30, 2026.

Please note: To ensure a fair and competitive awards program, categories with an insufficient number of submissions may be combined at the discretion of the Nova Star Awards.
 

IMPLEMENTATION STRUCTURE

Each award category will be divided into the following age brackets to ensure fair competition and age-appropriate judging across all categories:

• Junior Division: Ages 4–9
• Intermediate Division: Ages 10–13
• Senior Division: Ages 14–19

All participants will compete within their respective age division for each award category.

Please sing a song or send in a monologue/scene from the show. If you are unable to send footage of the show please tape yourself performing from home and send in still pictures from the show. Rehearsal footage is also submissable.
